Getting the Word Out for PacStar
There’s tendency to put the role of a chief technology officer (CTO) in a box, namely that of coming up with a product vision and leading the technology or engineering department. But it’s not like you can toss technology over the wall and expect it to be successful. Communication to technically inclined audiences about what the product does and why it’s important is also vital.
That why in my role as CTO at PacStar, I’ve emphasized the importance of communications and making sure that the technical advantages and capabilities of the hardware and software PacStar produces are well understood. In addition to webinars and developing technical content for the website, I’ve also had the opportunity to engage with leading publications in the segments PacStar serves as a spokesperson and as an author.
It always a great feeling when you see your words appear in print. The latest example came recently when Milsat Magazine published an article I authored on how PacStar’s IQ-Core Software simplifies the set-up of a network in the field. Read the entire article here.
I was also interviewed by staff writer Jamie Whitney and quoted in two recent articles he authored and were published in Military & Aerospace Electronics:
- The essentials of trusted computing and cyber security, Jan. 6, 2021
- The latest trends in rugged computing, Jan. 28, 2021
As you’ll see when you read the articles, I was quoted several times and was able to deliver strong messages about PacStar’s technology.
